Job Description:

Position: Clinical Pharmacist (Houston, Texas)

Duties: Develop, implement, and monitor clinical pharmacy programs to

improve patient care. Provide clinical services to patients and

professional staff. Interact with medical staff on drug utilization and

cost containment. Dispense drugs prescribed by physicians and other

health practitioners and provide information to patients about

medications and their use. Advise physicians and other health

practitioners on the selection, dosage, interactions, and side effects

of medications.

Requirements: Doctor of Pharmacy degree (willing to accept foreign

education equivalent) plus completion of ASHP accredited pharmacy

practice residency or Fellowship or 3 years of equivalent experience.

Specific skills/other requirements (quantitative experience requirements

not applicable to this section): Current and valid pharmacist licensure

in the state of Texas (or ability to obtain) and Pharmacy Sterile

Product Certification through an in-house program or other accredited
