We are a family owned business that is growing and looking for an experienced bookkeeper/payroll specialist to join our team. Our firm works with small-medium enterprise clients specializing in Bookkeeping, preparing corporate taxes, processing monthly sales tax & franchise tax, working with multiple clients on a monthly basis. Duties include but not limited to bookkeeping, payroll and general admin duties. This will be an hourly paid (35-40hrs), permanent contract position.Requirements: -- - Fluent in Spanish (read/write)-- - Minimum2 yrs bookkeeping & payroll experience-- - MUST be proficient and able to prove proficient and knowledgeable in the QuickBooks online application.-- - Prior experience with CRM-- - Organized & able to prioritize daily task-- - Work independently with little direct supervision-- - High attention to detail and accuracy a MUST-- - Referrals upon request-- - Must pass background check & drug screening-- - Submit Salary History/RequirementsPreferred Quaifications: Experience preparing corporate tax returnsExperience preparing individual tax returnsExperience processing monthly sales taxexperience processing franchise taxRequired Quality: Must be accustomed to maintaining a high level of client and firm confidentiality.Essential Job Functions: General Setup of Accounting Records. Create and maintain Quick Books Online users and set and maintain the appropriate access levels. Export periodic backups of the Quick Books Online company data. Create and maintain vendor records, including contact information, payment terms, and any other information required. Create and maintain customer records via CRM system. File quarterly sales tax reports for clients. Stay briefed on Intuit updates and news that affect the Quick Books Online application and accounting rules and requirements. Prepare W2's & 1099's. Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Excel wizard. Ability and knack for working with numerical data. Attention to detail. Solid understanding of the three levels of Quick Books Online application: Free, Basic, and Plus. Knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping is preferred but not required. Knowledge of business and accounting terms such as profit, ROE, assets, liabilities, etc. Ability to effectively manage time, meet deadlines, and work under pressure. Ability to work independently and as a member of a team. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Knowledge of general office procedures, such as copying, faxing, filing, and shredding. Innovative and creative in the form of continuous improvement to internal processes.
