As an Internal Auditor, you will plan, develop, organize, implement, and evaluate internal accounting projects. You will perform a complete analysis of accounting, finance, and economic issues in the context of business transactions while providing recommendations where applicable.Other responsibilities of the Accounting role include:

• Interviews clients to understand current controls and business processes.
• Identifies and formulates sound recommendations for improvements to controls and business processes.
• Develops and maintains internal control documentation and related processes to ensure compliance with control framework.
• Analyzes financial data and assists with auditing Financial Statements/Reporting to ensure completeness and accuracy of results.
• Prepares audit and business process review reports to present to Audit Management.
• Collaborates with various functional personnel to ensure that internal controls are adequately designed and operating effectively.
• Participates in planning and executing audits or business process improvement reviews as assigned.
• Participates in special assignments and fraud investigations as deemed necessary by management, the Audit Committee, and the Vice President Internal Audit.
• Assists audit management with administrative tasks and other assignments as required.Job Requirements:As an Internal Auditor, you must be able to make administrative and procedural decisions and judgments on complex sensitive or confidential issues. You must also have an expert knowledge of investigative and interviewing procedures.
  
  Other requirements of the Accounting role include:
  
  --- Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or Political Science; OR equivalent combination of related education and experience relevant to the position
  --- Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) license
  --- 7+ years in white-collar crime casework/management; auditing, security, or related experience
  --- Experience with corporate level investigations or equivalent experience within a city/state/federal government
