Job Description:

HMT is looking for a Business Unit Controller who will be accountable for the timeliness and accuracy of service line reporting, budget/forecast and analysis/KPIs. The Business Unit Controller will work with Managers at all levels to understand their role in the about mentioned areas.Essential Duties and Responsibilities + Review and evaluation of operating results, communicate key financial and operational issues to lead managers to enhance business performance+ Accountable for the accuracy of project accounting+ Responsible for Account Receivable: invoice timeliness and accuracy, timely collections and customer accuracy+ Create and implement reports to assist in managing and analyzing the operational results+ Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger and GRC + Improve operational and financial performance by identifying and implementing effective business processes and procedures+ Drive process improvement and identify opportunities for cost savings+ Drive the annual operation plan by building a bottom's up-functional plans and prepare quarterly/monthly forecast+ Interface with corporate accounting and finance functions to provide necessary reports and analysis+ Other special projects as assignedQualifications & Education+ Degree in Accounting or Finance+ CPA or MBA a plus+ 5 to 15+ years in managing project-based business+ Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills+ Quantitative skills and attention to detail+ Great interpersonal skillsPhysical & Mental Requirements + Office environment+ Ability to lift 10 pounds
