Join our Commodity and Global Markets Financial Planning and Analysis team as a Junior Business Financial Analyst.Based in Houston, this role supports our Commodity Market Finance team with preparation and analysis of monthly performance updates and management information to review the month end results, run rate analysis, portfolio analytics and capital and funding usage. In addition, you will partner with stakeholders to drive the reporting and resolution of expense management related queries and assist in the development of financial and strategic plans, valuation analysis and forecast models.On a day-to-day basis, you will demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset through active participation in operational excellence initiatives and consider opportunities for reporting standardization and automation in conjunction with the global team, partner with stakeholders to understand and challenge costs and generate cost savings ideas and provide ad-hoc support within the Financial Planning & Analysis team.To be successful in this role you will have:Bachelor s degree in finance, accounting, or other quantitative disciplines.One to Five years experience in finance and banking sector or function.Intermediate to advanced Excel SkillsAbility to multi-task, is organized, and able to work under pressure to meet month-end deadlinesDrive for personal growth, high achievement, and accountabilityImpeccable characterStrong attention to detailCPA would be a plusSpotfire would be a plusIf you are motivated to join a leading global provider within the markets industry, please apply online now.
