The successful candidate will be responsible for the following including, but not limited to:Conduct the monthly Revenue accounting close including processing of prior period adjustments. This includes both operated and non-operated properties.Complete monthly variance analysisPrepare monthly accruals and account reconciliations as assignedAnalyze receivable account monthlyAccountable for processing cash receiptsKnowledgeable in interpreting revenue contracts and applying terms appropriatelyWork in conjunction with Division Order team to review escheatable itemsExecute annual process for 1099 filingsAssist in internal and external auditsBuild relationship with Production and Midstream accountants to assist in executing activitiesIdentify and implement improvements to add to the efficiency and effectiveness of the companyFollow internal control policies and procedures Required Skills and AbilitiesMust have strong analytical skills.Practices and encourages open, honest, and timely communication within the teamLead and foster a culture of ethical behavior that supports compliance programs and strong auditing and financial controls.Quick learner who is a self-starter with sound judgment and decision-making abilitiesDynamic thinking that demonstrates a high level of personal motivation and organizational skills with an understanding of accountabilityFlexibility to grow and change with company needsAbility to work independently and as part of a team Requirements5 or more years of accounting experience, with 3 years of Revenue accounting experience required3-5 years' experience in oil and gas industryExperience with W Energy a plusExperience working in a growing start up environment strongly preferredBachelor's degree in accountingProficient in Microsoft Office Suite plus advanced expertise with Excel, PowerBI and SQL experienceWorking knowledge and high proficiency in ERP integrations PI207635383
