Senior Pricing and Quote Analyst Role:
Responsible for accurate and timely pricing of a range of services and products, developing cost estimating models for complex projects, preparing responsive cost proposals, analyzing cost performance and win/loss statistics to assure continuous improvement of pricing approaches.
Responsible for preparing quick-turnaround quotes, cost estimates for proposals, working with Operations group to develop basis of estimates; receiving, pricing and customer follow-up for all new business requests from potential and existing customers from time of request through invoicing.
Actively supports the Accounting Manager in employee training, invoicing and customer relations.
Produce complete and comprehensive pricing.
Produce accurate quotes and cost proposals using quality controls within the production schedule.
Document all pricing rational and considerations.
Keep up to date records for internal and government audits.
Assure winning pricing using routine reviews of cost and win/loss analyses.
Responsible for statistical and analytical reports on Pricing Activities.
Analyze business opportunities for pricing strategies and risks.
Establish customer relationships, from time of request through completion of the assignment and invoicing.
Request required pricing and quoting information from all departments.
Analyze all pricing data from various managers and departments, and determine cost realism and target pricing for all requests.
Create cost estimates to support quotes based on technical estimates per scope of work.
Format, deliver and revise quotes to clients.
Distribute outgoing quotes to managers and track quote submittal in Deltek.
Communicate quote acceptance to managers and essential personnel.
Maintain hard copies and electronic files of all quotes to new and existing clients.
Follow up with all clients with outstanding quotes on a weekly basis.
Update the standardized pricing list as necessary.
For new clients evaluate appropriate payment terms.
Maintain quote archive.
Submit all quotes for QC to another member of Business Development Manager, Controller or Manager of appropriate Operations Department.
Transfer to Operations and Accounting by summarizing quotes to provide budget and basis.
Ensure client satisfaction by analyzing customer requirements and suggest appropriate solutions.
Assist operations and accounting departments in transitioning new clients.
Receive incoming complaints/concerns from clients.

Senior Pricing and Quote Analyst Background Profile:
BA/BS Accounting, Finance or related field is highly preferred, will consider years of experience
Master's degree is a plus
Pricing - 5 years of full cycle quote generation including negotiations
Must have both commercial and government contracting
Looking for candidates with experience in the following: GSA, FAR, DFARS, TINA, CAS, and DCAA regulations
Thorough knowledge of all contract types: FFP, CPFF, CPAF, and T&M
Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required
Must be detail oriented and have advanced proficiency in spreadsheet tools, including the ability to develop complex, automated cost models.
Experience in Deltek GovWin, CostPoint, and Cognos is preferred.
This is a fast-paced position, strong time management is required
