Job Summary
Supports the daily operations of the Fixed Asset Accounting Department and the maintenance of the Oracle Fixed Asset Module (OFA) . Prepare adequate accounting records in line with appropriate policies and procedures. This position is to be prepped as long-term succession plane for property accounting supervisor role.

Job Description

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Work with corporate and field personnel to ensure that asset management policies and procedures are followed. Work on the Oracle Fixed Asset Module subsystem Math transactions and support the close process for all Oracle Primary Ledgers, worldwide.
• Review Fixed Assets movements within the organization and liaise with various functions to ensure OFA is accurately reflecting those movements. Provide daily OFA related support and guidance to all functions, inclusive of responding to daily queries.
• Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reports/analysis for transmission to financial reporting group and senior management, inclusive of applicable variance explanations/notes in accordance with month end, quarter end and year end timetable and structure.
• Responsible for compiling and coordinating the annual company worldwide fixed asset physical count. Follow up with operations and other functions to resolve open items resulting from the physical asset count.
• Support in Monthly, quarterly and annual internal SOX as well as assist with review, investigation and compilation of relevant feedback to audit requests (Internal and External).
• Preparation of monthly reconciliation and analysis of assigned balance sheet accounts.
• Support the review of Capital Project coding and their classification in the Projects Planning Module (PPM) for the entire organization, while providing support to operations and other functions in this respect.
• Provides ongoing system training to OFA system users [including Secondary Ledgers users as/if required].
• Ad Hoc requests and analysis as required by the supervisor Property Accounting or the Sr. Finance Manager Projects & Property Accounting.
  
  Education:
  
  • Bachelor's Degree Accounting or Finance. Additional experience in lieu of education would be considered.
    
    Experience:
    
    • Minimum Required: +3 years in Property accounting related experience
    • Preferred Level: 5+ Years in Property accounting related experience
      
      Skills:
      
      • Must possess ability to be thorough and detail oriented
      • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
      • Knowledge of Oracle Cloud, in particular OFA and PPM modules
      • Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge (EXCEL)
        
        Pre-Requisite/Qualification:
        
        • Must successfully complete pre-employment drug screen.
