As a trusted partner, we deliver business-driven solutions that provide the scalability and support needed to power growth for organizations.In this position, you will:Perform and review journal entries related to normal month/quarter-end close cycles.Prepare general ledger reconciliations and GL account analysis; ensuring balances are accurate, sufficiently documented and meet accounting requirements.Summarize financial status by receiving information and preparing balance sheet, P&L, and other statements.Take part in forecasting and financial standards setting processes.Develop, maintain and document business processes and procedures while ensuring strong internal controls.Research technical accounting issues and create processes to ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).Maintain and create operational and accounting financial standards.Perform Percentage of Completion Accounting (POC).Maintain accurate records of financial information and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.Support and participate in internal audits and other control processes narratives.Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance, including preparation of required schedules.Perform adhoc projects, research and analysis as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Behaviors:Strong problem-solving and reasoning ability.Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables.Knowledge of computer-based accounting systems.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, high transaction environment.Attention to detail and accuracy.Education/ Experience:Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance required.6-8 years of related accounting experience.Working knowledge of NetSuite.Driven by zero defect capable processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).Certifications:CPA, CPA Eligible or working towards.Physical Demands:Sedentary Work Exerts up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, a negligible amount of force frequently, and/or constantly having to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
