Methodist is looking for a professional to expand our quality
assurance efforts by developing, supporting and delivering manual
testing strategies and solutions across various platforms to
include agile and waterfall environments. This position will pay
close attention to detail with writing and executing test plans
along with documenting how to recreate issues. Be instrumental in
the evolution of our testing processes by bringing new ideas to the
existing manual processes, including consideration for automation.
Immediately improve our testing quality by always thinking of
different angles to test from. Experience with testing Web-APIs and
basic SQL is required. Also, being familiar with browser debugging
tools and experience with device clouds (AWS Device Farm, Xamarin
Test Cloud, etc.) would be very helpful. PATIENT AGE GROUP(S) AND

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Job responsibilities labeled EF
capture those duties that are essential functions of the job.
PEOPLE - 25% 1. Manage customer--s expectations related to process
communication, documentation, standards and adherence. (EF) 2.
Educate new staff and all stakeholders on process standards and
procedures and their application within the PMO. (EF SERVICE - 20%
1. Plan, organize and execute process related activities on major
projects and key operational initiatives: (EF) a. Testing i.
Develop the Test Plan and Test Strategy documents; define and
document the entire testing process. ii. Assist with defining and
implementing the testing environment. iii. Create and implement
test plans, cases, scripts and schedules. Manage test script
creation by the testers. iv. Lead team of testers and functional
experts through multiple test phases. v. Conduct daily/weekly
meetings to discuss test execution & defects; report defects and
escalate issues. vi. Provide reporting and metrics to management
team for defects and test executions. vii. Serve as testing
consultant; develop and deliver testing training. b. Cost
Management i. Assist with defining and documenting the cost
management process, standards and templates. ii. Serve as cost
management consultant, develop and deliver cost management
training. iii. Assist project teams with management of cost on
projects. iv. Provide reporting and metrics to management team for
project budgets and variances. v. Prepare monthly audit reports
showing cost management adoption. vi. Serve as subject matter
expert in processing invoices and requisitions. vii. Assist PM with
preparation of capital project closeout letter at project
completion. 2. Communicate client requests and feedback to the
operations or project manager. 3. Report and address issues as they
arise identifying and implementing alternative solutions or
escalating to the operations or project manager when appropriate.
(EF) 4. Serve as liaison with project team members on issues
related to process activities. (EF) 5. Assist the operations or
project manager by preparing presentations and reports; provide
status updates on assigned action items. QUALITY/SAFETY - 35% 1.
Assist with defining process standards and templates to one of our
core process areas: testing or cost management. This is not an
exclusive list as additional processes will be added as the office
matures. (EF) 2. Establish the framework to implement the
standards; define and implement an adoption strategy. (EF) 3.
Adhere to standards and procedures defined by the PMO. (EF) 4.
Maintain the process site, update process documentation. FINANCE -
10% 1. Assist Project Manager with estimating project cost and
defining project benefits.(EF) 2. Validate consultants (contract
labor) deliverables GROWTH/INNOVATION - 10% 1. Constantly look for
opportunities to improve the PMO. 2. Lead PMO initiatives. (EF)

REQUIREMENTS Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Business
Administration, or related discipline with an information
technology focus EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Required 5+ years of
successful experience in IT process activities in support of large
to enterprise scale and complexity projects and operations
initiatives, preferably in a healthcare environment. CERTIFICATES,
LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED Testing or Cost Management
related certification preferred. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
REQUIRED * Demonstrates the skills and competencies necessary to
safely perform the assigned job, determined through on-going
skills, competency assessments, and performance evaluations.
* Sufficient proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing the
English language necessary to perform the essential functions of
this job, especially with regard to activities impacting patient or

* Knowledge of how process activities are integrated to IT
operations and the project life cycle.
