Job Description:

This position supports the execution of strategic marketing efforts by performing business development, social media awareness, and administrative duties in the local market, working with the Region Manager and corporate marketing. Responsible for assisting and tracking new business opportunities that ensure maximum exposure to new business prospects for the firm within Colorado. It encompasses developing new business leads, and proposal preparation with technical staff and marketing, in conjunction with assisting the management of client activities/client relationships and soliciting project opportunities while prepare reports on sales activities for the Area Manager's presentation to the Managing Director. Accountability and Duties - Business Development/Marketing: Proposal Coordinator efforts include assisting, creating, writing, assembling, and delivery proposals and SOQs, (approximately 2-5/week, 1-3 hours each) as needed and within deadlines; Participates in evaluation of potential opportunities and the Go/No Go process; Participates in the proposal strategy to help formulate win themes and differentiators; Works collaboratively with engineers, managers, business development, and various others to coordinate, produce, edit and maintain proposals and marketing material (professional resumes/project cut-sheets) describing Manhard's services reflecting the company's brand image, voice, and values to prospective clients; Coordinate with corporate marketing to assist with and post social media platforms; Assist with identifying and source BD opportunities in accordance with the firm's service and geographic objectives to optimize client mix with regard to market, sales, growth, and margins; Attends business development functions during working hours, and when needed, after hours; Measure established goals, objectives, strategies, and budgets for developing new business; Prepares forecasts of prospective new and/or repeat business monthly; Coordinates and tracks client development wins/losses; Develops new client leads through visits, telephone contact, and other advance strategies; Participate in potential client communications to obtain client history, develop their profile and coordinate follow-up contact with appropriate staff; Assist Region Manager in developing and maintaining an approved target list for opportunities; Develops prospects through personal visits, friendships, and professional relationships with VIP's and decision makers and through activities in civic and professional organizations; Research, collect and prepare studies highlighting areas of new business potential; Identify key industry associations, technical conferences and tradeshow events that require company presence and assist with scheduling, coordination, and planning; Ensure client information is in Deltek (CRM) and available to senior management; Performs special projects, other reasonable BD related duties, and other tasks as assigned; Qualification Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent and one to three years of related experience.Education and/or Experience:High school diploma or equivalent Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:Valid driver's license
