Job Description:
We are working with an excellent Manufacturing organization in
Conover that is looking for an Administrative Coordinator to
support its Sales and Customer Support department for a three-month
assignment.Summary: Oversees the office administration, procedures
and customer support activities crucial to the Sales and Service
operations by performing the following duties.Essential Duties and
Responsibilities: include the following.Other duties may be
assigned.Coordinates and supports sales and service related
products and activities, which may include new tooling, spare
parts, and/or in-house repairs.Oversees and coordinates general SAP
functions, including, but not limited to prompt and accurate entry
of customer orders, generation of purchase orders to factory, and
maintaining defined inventory levels on stock tools and spare
parts.Processes and follows-up on customer orders, including credit
card processing, validation of material, pricing and payment terms.
Ensures inventory levels and coordinates shipping as
appropriate.Places and maintains orders with vendors, updates
delivery when order confirmation is received, and continuously
monitors delivery status with all vendors, updating SAP as
needed.Defines and documents procedures, including but not limited
to order processing, filing and database systems, records retention
and protection.Coordinates internal and external communication
between the customer, Regional Sales Manager, Benz GmbH and local
office.Responds to customer needs and performs appropriate
follow-up. Keeps customer abreast of activity status and assists in
resolving related issues.Prepares appropriate quotations for
customer orders and repairs.Schedules, coordinates and records
in-house service.Processes appropriate orders, warranties, returns
and credits as necessary.Proactively keeps management informed of
trends and patterns.Maintains and updates appropriate departmental
databases and files. Prepares appropriate departmental
correspondence and reports.Assists with preparations for sales
related activities such as travel arrangements, food and
