Job Description Job Description Draft Horse, the beverage-systems division of Charlie’s Plumbing, is growing fast across Texas—and we need a sharp, organized, customer-focused Service Coordinator to help keep our service operation running smoothly. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates clearly, and understands the beverage industry—specifically draft beer, soda, coffee/espresso equipment, and beverage system service workflows. About the Role The Service Coordinator is the central hub of our operation, responsible for managing incoming client calls, creating and scheduling work orders, dispatching beverage technicians, and ensuring excellent communication between clients, technicians, and management. You will work closely with restaurant groups, bars, breweries, coffee shops, distributors, and national accounts across Houston, DFW, Austin, San Antonio, College Station, and Gulf Coast markets. Key Responsibilities Client Communication & Work Intake Answer and triage incoming service calls and emails for draft beer, soda, espresso/coffee, and water filtration systems Gather clear information about equipment issues (no-flow, foaming, temperature issues, pump failures, leaks, carbonation problems, machine errors, etc.) Create, prioritize, and route work orders accurately in the service platform Scheduling & Dispatching Schedule beverage technicians based on location, skillset, and urgency Communicate schedules, ETAs, delays, and follow-ups to clients and internal teams Track ongoing service calls, PM programs, installations, and emergency requests Workflow & Operations Maintain service calendars and technician workloads Coordinate with distributors and partners (Kristen Distributing, Heineken, Coca-Cola/Pepsi vendors, roasters, breweries, etc.) Ensure accurate documentation, equipment notes, and service details Support billing coordination by ensuring all job details are entered correctly Customer Experience Provide a calm, friendly, professional experience to both clients and technicians Build long-term relationships with multi-location and high-volume accounts Follow up on open jobs and ensure nothing falls through the cracks Required Experience & Skills Strong knowledge of draft, soda, or coffee/espresso beverage systems (service, troubleshooting basics, terminology, or distributor/restaurant experience) Prior experience in service coordination, dispatching, or operational scheduling Excellent phone communication and customer-service skills Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage a heavy inbound workload Strong computer and organizational skills Fast thinker with high attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-moving, high-volume environment Preferred Experience Worked in beverage distribution, brewery operations, coffee equipment service, bar/restaurant management, or food & beverage equipment service Familiarity with service software, CRM tools, or dispatching platforms Understanding of preventative maintenance cycles (deep cleans, glycol changes, espresso descaling, etc.) Company Description About Draft Horse Draft Horse delivers unparalleled draft system expertise to businesses across Texas.
