Do BCG continues to expand its Marketing, Sales & Pricing practice
and experience increasing demand, particularly in the areas of
marketing effectiveness, measurement & analytics. We are currently
looking for an Expert Consultant who can help us grow, nurture, and
expand our marketing measurement offerings within the firm.
Candidates will bring significant experience in measuring marketing
performance/ROI through econometric models (e.g. MMMs) and have a
deep understanding of the data needed to power such models
(including on- and offline media tactics, trade marketing and
sales). This role will support the execution of marketing
measurement and analytics-related assignments for clients and could
include:
- Analyzing MMM and other measurement models to unpack key
drivers of marketing performance
- Identifying and collecting key data inputs to support the
development of new marketing effectiveness models
- Providing external benchmarks to inform potential opportunities
to improve marketing spend allocation
- Working hand in hand with BCG X team, including members from
the data science team and digital growth team to implement new
marketing effectiveness tools + models
- Supporting clients in building internal capabilities on
marketing effectiveness topics (measurement, action plans to
improve ROIs, ) Our Expert Consulting Track (ECT) The Expert

meet our clients' demand for deep expertise and advanced technical
capabilities. Experts deliver next-level impact for BCG's most

developing BCG's thought leadership, commercial capabilities, and
intellectual property assets; and their work is essential to our
delivery model. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team to
bring the 'best of BCG' to our clients, Experts come from diverse
backgrounds, with expertise often gained outside of BCG in
industry, academia, or specialized consulting. What You'll Bring
(Experience & Qualifications)
- 5+ years' experience in a significant Data / Analytics role -
with advanced knowledge of statistical models used to measure
marketing performance (MMMs)
- Strong analytical acumen and quantitative skills with a
demonstrated ability to translate information and data into
actionable insights story and strategic recommendations
- Comfort and good intuition around advanced analytics and
insights research methodology, with a good basic understanding of
modeling techniques and n jgced applied skills (e.g. Customer life
cycle value, A/B testing)
- Deep understanding of sales, media, and other marketing data
(e.g. trade, ecommerce), with deep familiarity with digital
advertising platforms/data (Meta, Google) and performance
metrics
- Experience in CPG or other consumer-facing industries
preferred
- Hypothesis-driven thinking - leads with an answer first and
rigorously analyzes and interprets data to refine
recommendations
- Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing,
in a clear and straightforward manner
- Manage all phases of projects/campaigns from beginning to end
with sufficient autonomy
- Ability to synthesize, design, and conduct formal presentations
to all levels of management on issues or findings in assigned areas
or subjects
- Ability to work well with people from all levels of the
organization, many different disciplines, and communicate technical
"speak" to stakeholders of varying degrees of technical and
business experience
- Demonstrate good decision-making and judgment while working

Location is flexible to any US city where BCG currently has an
office (Boston, New York, Brooklyn, New Jersey, Philadelphia,
Pittsburgh, Washington DC, Detroit, Chicago, Minneapolis, Atlanta,
Miami, Houston, Dallas, Austin, Seattle, San Francisco, Los
Angeles, Denver, Raleigh, Nashville). YOU'LL BE TRAVELING: Travel
is anticipated and will vary based on specific project locations.
