– Baytown Customer Service Representative focused on building
relationships and promoting parts, service and rental solutions.
This is a growth-driven role for an energetic and goal-orientated
individual. Key Responsibilities: Customer Interaction: Greet
customers, answer service calls, and understand their forklift
issues. Customer Base: Seek, expand, and maintain customer base.
Diagnosis & Estimates: Consult with technicians, assess needs
(sometimes visually/via test run), and provide accurate repair
estimates and timelines. Coordinates with the parts department.
Communication: Keep customers updated on changes, explain service
details and costs, and follow up to ensure satisfaction.
Documentation: Creates work orders, documents approval/rejections
and review billing for accuracy. Sales & Advice: Advise on
maintenance, warranty, and potentially upsell services or parts,
offering cost-saving alternatives. Work Site location: Blended both
in office and field. All other job duties as assigned by
Management. Requirements and Qualifications: Soft Skills:
Exceptional verbal and written communication, and strong
multitasking abilities. Customer Service: 1-2 years in customer
service-related role in a related industry. Technical Knowledge:
Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with material handling
equipment. Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office,
experience with ERP or CRM software. Education/Experience: High
School diploma or equivalent.
