work.(sm) Join the HealthSafe ID team as a Senior Engineering
Manager. The team works on building a state-of-the-art identity and
authentication technology to service numerous populations, portals,
and applications across the UnitedHealth Group and beyond. We
enable users to securely access their healthcare needs. Working
with a diverse team, you will tackle challenging scalability
problems, impact millions of people and transform healthcare. -

Responsibilities:
- Coach your direct reports to have a fulfilling career path and
solid -impact on technological evolution
- Support your team's architectural decision-making through
pragmatic analysis and achieving more with les
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers and senior
leadership to turn vision into a roadmap
- Maintain a solid -culture of engineering excellence and focus
on user experience
- Hire astounding engineers
- Maintain open, inclusive and unbiased communication and
decision-making practices
- Drive engineering quality and maintain impeccable SLAs
- Define, plan and drive improvements in the design, coding
practices and technology You'll be rewarded and recognized for your

provide development for other roles you may be interested in.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
and training
- 8+ years of overall experience in software engineering
- 3+ years of experience with software development in one or more
high-level general purpose programming languages (e.g. Java, Scala,
C#, Python, Golang, etc.)
- 2+ years of experience in managing engineering team with a
exceptional focus on people management
- Experience in managing through goals and metrics Preferred
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience with distributed systems and application
design in a SOA environment
- 3+ years of experience with production debugging, tracking down
causes and fixing them in systematic ways
- Experience with authorization frameworks like OAuth 2.0, SAML
or OpenID Connect
- Knowledge of high-scale performance and optimization tools and
techniques
- Knowledge of Web security, authentication, and applied
cryptography
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills To protect the

Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $97,300
to $176,900. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is
$97,300 to $176,900. Pay is based on several factors including but
not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In
