• Review permit applications and amendments in order to provide response on behalf of BPCP and HHD.
• Provide engineering assistance in identifying, evaluating, compliance issues in operations and process flows.
• Ensure that deliverables, contractual reports, and obligations are met.
• Prepare surveys, investigation, and observation reports for utilization in corrective recommendations or as legal evidence in the prosecution of violators.
• Maintain and operate scientific instrumentation.
• Participate in basic applied research projects geared toward process improvement.
• Reviewing of Standard Operating Procedure for all instruments.
• May perform other duties as assigned.WORKING CONDITIONSThe position is physically comfortable, the individual has discretion about walking, standing, etc. There are occasional minor discomforts from exposure to less-than-optimal temperature and air conditions. The position may involve dealing with modestly unpleasant situations, as with occasional exposure to office chemicals and/or extensive use of a video display terminal.
