• Will be responsible for designing new electronics products including specifications, development timelines and reports, design reviews, prototype builds, documentation packages, and final tool assembly and testing.
• Responsible for developing every aspect of the electronics for downhole products ranging from high sensitivity sensors to the system's firmware, system architecture and wiring diagram, acquisition system design, motor control, power supplies, and signal digitalization.
• Interface with multi-disciplined team members for electronics packaging and sensor development. Key Skills:
  • --- Candidate is expected to have proficiency with Schematic/PCB Design Tools, Altium Designer preferred.
  • --- 5+ years' experience with downhole electronics design for use in high temperature/vibration/shock environments, manufacturing, testing, qualification, and troubleshooting.
  • --- Significant experience with firmware design and FPGA design required.
  • --- Hands on electronics prototype design and testing including proficiency with test equipment.
  • --- Knowledge of downhole electronics design rules for analog, digital, and mixed circuit design.
  • --- Knowledge of Linux platform, C programming, and FPGAs.
