Responsibilities Job Purpose This position will work alongside
Weatherford Enterprise Architects as a member of the IT
Architecture Team, to align, configure, document, and implement
data transformation pipelines, and work with Data Analysts to
create data models, dashboards and reports. This work will be done
on various cloud analytics platforms. The primary purpose is to
create an agile, advanced analytics and reporting capability in the
cloud. This position will be working with a high performance team
of architects and engineers to transform the company's data
analytics and data integration platforms in the cloud. Roles &
Responsibilities SAFETY, SECURITY & COMPLIANCE
- Maintains the highest standards of corporate governance,

- Supervisors & Managers should demonstrate effective safety
leadership for the health and safety arrangements of all

- Maintains service quality as immediate priorities when working

improvement OPERATIONS
- Responsible for research, design and implementation of
solutions that are secure, resilient, scale, cost effective and
meet customer requirements.
- Works with IT management, and other functions as required, to
ensure system designs and implementations meet the standards set by
Legal, Compliance, HR, and Audit. COMMUNICATION
- Maintains effective communications with all key stakeholders
both internal and where appropriate external
- Supervisors & Managers should clearly communicate expectations,
roles and responsibilities to their reports
- Must work well with others in a fast-paced team
environment
- Listens to and takes direction from senior members of the team
while contributing original ideas and approaches to solve complex
IT challenges FINANCIAL

- Readily shares technical knowledge with others Qualifications
Experience & Education REQUIRED
- Bachelor's from an accredited university in business,
management information systems or equivalent field - Master's
preferred
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in Information Technology
working with data integration and/or data engineering
platforms
- Capable of working independently under the direction of senior
IT Enterprise Architects or Manger of Analytics and Reporting
PREFERRED
- 2+ years of experience with cloud analytics and data
transformation platforms
- Recent design and implementation experience with cloud-based
data analytics platforms - such as Azure Synapse and Databricks, or
equivalent
- Experience with traditional ETL data transformation
technologies and databases, such as Informatica and Oralce RDBMS or
Microsoft SQL Server
- Recent experience with implementation of data lake technology
in the cloud - such as Azure Data Lake or Data Lake on AWS
- Experience with data modelling and data visualization using
Microsoft PowerBI or equivalent technology
- Experience building data integration and data transformation
pipelines in the cloud Knowledge, Skills & Abilities REQUIRED
- 5+ years of industry experience including:
- 1+ years' experience with software development and scripting,
including SPARK and Python
- 2+ years' experience with various data integration patterns and
technologies, such as: Message-based, Application Programming
Interfaces (APIs), Change Data Capture (CDC), Service Bus and ETL
platforms PREFERRED
- Experience with design and deployment of Microsoft Azure cloud
infrastructure, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Synapse Analytics
services
- Experience implementing Azure Data Factory to create data
ingestion and transformation pipelines
- Experience with Azure DevOps
- Experience with relational database technology, including SQL
Server and Oracle
- Experience with Informatica or other ETL platforms
- Experience with Databricks technology, including Delta Lake
capabilities
- Experience with Microsoft Azure Data Lake Gen2 and Azure
Synapse Analytics or equivalent
- Experience with data transformation, data modelling and
visualization using Azure Data Factory and Microsoft PowerBI
