Senior/ Principal Process Engineer
Houston, TX
Contract

Purpose:
Determines methods and solutions for complex engineering problems and selects the most efficient and economical manner for meeting objectives. Applies advanced engineering techniques and analysis. Is fully conversant in the profession and proficient in the utilization of current engineering theories and practices. May provide discipline supervision for one larger or one or more smaller projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Generation, review, and approval of the Process deliverables: H&MB, PFD's, P&IDs, equipment specifications, hydraulics calculation, contingency analysis & process instrument data in their assigned area.
• Reviewing requisitions, technical bid evaluations and providing support to other disciplines.
• Proactively resolving any discrepancies between the client and its customer's requirements. Qualifications:
  • A recognized and relevant engineering degree.
  • Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status.
  • Relevant postgraduate qualifications in engineering; management, project management or supervisory qualifications or equivalent.
  • Generation, review, and approval of the Process deliverables: H&MB, PFD's, P&IDs, equipment specifications, hydraulics calculation, contingency analysis & process instrument data in their assigned area.
  • Conducting Process studies as needed.
  • Mentoring junior Process Engineers.
  • Reviewing requisitions, technical bid evaluations and providing support to other disciplines.
