Talascend is currently seeking ahybrid Senior CIAM Engineer (Okta) for a short-term contract opportunity located in Houston, TX. OVERVIEW:

This position will play a crucial role in protecting customer data and assets. The position requires working with key business partners, developers, vendors, and security engineers to help craft the future of our CIAM Program.

Seeking an experienced Consumer/ Customer Identity and Access Management Engineer to develop patterns up to 6 for lines of business to onboard to new CIAM platform Okta/ B2C and B2B. Candidate must have a strong background in implementing and designing CIAM architecture for large complex CIAM environments.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develops and maintains detailed technical documentation related to Customer Authentication MFA and Identity platforms including upstream and downstream applications connected to CIAM identity.


POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• 
  
• In-depth understanding of Okta components services and dependencies.
  
• 8+ years of experience working on Identity Security.
  
• Previous experience with deploying solutions related to IAM / Okta Okta environment setup configuration and deployment activities.
  
• Expertise with Okta Single Sign On Multi-Factor Authentication and authenticators Adaptive MFA Universal Directory API Access Management application integration and configuration.
  
• Expertise with various OAuth2 Flows supported in Okta Custom Authorization Servers OpenID Connect SCIM integrations.
  
• Previous experience in Okta implementation and integrations with applications directories databases and synchronization.
  
• Strong knowledge in security standards and protocols such as LDAP, SAML, OpenID, SSO/MFA, RADIUS, Kerberos Federation Services, RBAC, OAuth, OIDC, SOAP, JSON, REST is required.
  
• Previous experience preparing implementation plans with detailed activities and dependencies.
  
• Strong in any one scripting language like PowerShell, Python, etc.
  
• OKTA Certified Administrator credential is required
  
• OKTA Certified Consultant is preferred.
  
  PAY: $70-85 an hour depending upon experience.
