Talascend is currently seeking experience LNG Process Engineers for contract opportunities in Houston, Texas


We are looking for industry relevant and experienced LNG Process Engineers with 5 - 25 years of experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for study, design, and specification and services related to LNG projects. Responsible for heat and material balance, the development of process flow diagrams, piping and instrument diagrams, system design parameters, and design or rating of equipment and apparatus such as heat exchangers, vessels, reactors, etc. May also be responsible for development of process simulators and advanced controls/process optimization. Under broad direction, supervises and leads a group of engineers.
Sets the technical standards and procedures of a group of engineers and designers.
Conducts various aspects of performance management such as performance appraisal or counseling of employees with behavior or technical performance problems and assists in the interviewing, hiring, and assignment of new personnel in the discipline. Job role is responsible for a measurable asset such as an assigned staff and budget.
REQUIREMENTS: Skills are typically acquired through an undergraduate degree in Engineering and a minimum of 5 years related experience, with average experience of 25+ years.
