Maintenance Engineer
Houston, Texas

As Maintenance Engineer, you will work closely with Manufacturing Engineering on machinery, fixturing and tooling. You will oversee the preventative maintenance program to ensure the optimal functioning of all equipment including, but not limited to: presses, furnaces, cranes, and mobile equipment. You will also assume responsibility for the smooth, continuous reliability of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. When deemed necessary, you will also be expected to champion the purchase of new equipment, from writing specifications, to investigation and research, to reviewing bids/quotes and directing installation of such. To qualify, you should hold a Bachelor?s degree in Mechanical Engineering and possess 3 to 5 years? experience working in a mechanical- or maintenance-disciplined Engineering role within a heavy manufacturing facility. Good knowledge of AutoCAD is required. Your background must also contain significant experience spearheading large projects such as facility construction, the transfer of large equipment from one location to another with minimum production downtime. Management of contractors is also essential to success in this position.
