Airgas is hiring for a Nitrogen Services Engineering Intern for Summer 2024 in Houston, TX!

We are searching for interns to join our world class team as a leading supplier of single-source industrial gasses. Our guiding principles of safety, servant leadership, customer service, and personal and professional growth will foster and empower you with hands-on field experience to learn the fundamentals of our team.

• Four days in the office and one day remote
  
• Hours are 8am to 5pm
  
• This is internship is PAID at $29/hr.
  
• 10 week summer internship starting June 3rd and concluding August 9th
  
  
  Responsibilities:
  
  • Identifying critical safeguards on P&IDs, assisting with a telemetry/fleet monitoring roadmap to upgrade the overall tracking of our equipment as well as potential visits to pumping job sites
    
  • Assist and Oversee Fixed Gas Detection Installation and Bulk Tank Installation Projects.
    
  • Work with the ANS sales team on other improvement ideas.
    
  • Monitor and communicate operation efficiencies using both real-time and historical data streams

    Required Qualifications
    
    • High School Diploma or equivalent
      
    • BS in engineering discipline (In process of attaining degree)
      
    • At least six months experience with Google Suite
      
      
      Preferred Qualifications
      
      • Previous chemical operator or engineering experience
        
      • Previous internship experience
