We are currently looking for Stealth / Low Observable / Radar Cross Section (RCS) / Signature Management / Survivability Engineers to work on challenging, state of the art technical projectsDo you have a passion for LO technology?Would you enjoy working at both an outdoor RCS range and a large indoor RCS chamber to support our nation's security?If you answered "yes" to these questions, our Signature Management & Technology team at our Tucson, AZ, facility wants to hear from you!Job Summary:We are seeking mid-career to senior level Engineers to join the Signature Management & Technology Team. At Raytheon, you will be part of a team whose responsibilities span the full lifecycle of the product- from initial conceptual design to modeling and analysis, from component to missile level RCS testing, and production support to maintainability. Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • The selected individual will document all activities pertaining to test preparation, data analysis, design trades, prediction results, and others.
  • You will work within integrated product teams and support all aspects of that team's design efforts with some direction from Senior Low Observables Engineer
  • Present results of testing, analysis, and design efforts to internal and external customers
  • Occasional travel for business, training, and conferences Basic Qualifications:
    • Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of eight years of experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience in Low Observable (LO) engineering
    • Experience in Stealth (design, analysis, computational electro-magnetics (CEM), and/or test)
    • A ctive and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance . Preferred Qualifications:
      • Working knowledge of computational electromagnetic codes to include full wave codes, as well as asymptotic techniques using industry standard tools such as XPATCH, CARLOS, SENTRi, etc.
      • Strong interpersonal communication and effective personal interaction and collaboration with a multi-disciplined team and customers
      • Infrared (IR) signature analysis and reduction experience including IR CEM tools
      • Master's degree in physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
      • A current active U.S. Government in-scope DoD Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (SAP).
      • Programming expertise in C++, MATLAB, or other technical language

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
