III (Multi-hire: 8 openings) FLSA Status: Contractor (6 - 12 months
contract) Salary: $49.76 - $58.51/hour Reports to: Sr. Electrical

Webster, Texas Travel: Occasional Travel Required for testing,
vendor relations, client relations, and design reviews Position
Overview: Under limited supervision, the Electrical Engineer III
will design, test, and develop electrical equipment, components,
circuits, or systems, ensuring they meet quality, safety, and
performance standards. Designs, develops, and tests electrical
equipment, components, circuits, or systems. Applies mathematical
and engineering principles and methods to designs. Performs
extensive testing and validation of designs to ensure reliability,
performance, and safety standards are achieved. Conducts research
and studies new technologies to innovate and design solutions or
products. This role works closely with clients, project managers,
engineers, technicians, and quality personnel to identify project
requirements and ensure the successful completion of control
systems projects. Functions: Conducts research and studies new
technologies to innovate and design solutions or products. Design
circuits, develop schematics, pcb layout using computer-aided
design (CAD) software. Creates fabrication files, interfacing
documents, and technical documentation (e.g., application notes,
engineering notes). Conduct thorough testing and analysis of
prototypes and systems to ensure functionality, safety, and
compliance with industry standards. Performs extensive testing and
validation of designs to ensure reliability, performance, and
safety standards are achieved. Perform validation and regression
testing of designs and maintain the test matrix. Troubleshoot and
diagnose electrical issues and recommend solutions for
improvements. Use testing equipment, such as oscilloscopes,
multimeters, and signal generators, to verify and validate designs.
Program, prototype, and test microcontrollers and boards. Other
job-related duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities: N/A.
REQUIREMENTS Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in
electrical engineering required. 5-7 years of related experience.
Skilled in hand-soldering and re-work of PCB assemblies, including
SMT and through-hole components, preferred to meet IPC-J-STD-001
standards High current, high voltage design experience. Experience
in microelectronics and Printed Circuit Board (PCB) development.
Experience with, but not limited to, Embedded C, python, MATLAB,
C#, C++, Javascript. Experience with different communication
protocols including but not limited to RS232, ethernet, USB, CAN,
DroneCAN, CANFD, SPI. Design to prototype to testing experience
required Nice to Have: Previous Battery Management (BMS) experience
Experience with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)/GRID and
distributed BMS architecture Uninterruptable power supply (UPS)
experience Experience with measurement, accuracy, Mosfet, Low power
consumption applications Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs):
Demonstrated use of Altium, KiCAD, Solidworks Electrical or similar
(CAD, CAE) Demonstrated ability to influence others, build
effective relationships with both internal and external
stakeholders to accomplish business objectives. Demonstrated
