for a Refurb HVAC Technician - 1st Shift to join a thriving company
in North Houston. The Refurb HVAC Technician - 1st Shift will be
responsible for assisting with the inspection, refurbishment,
repair, and reassembly of HVAC equipment to ensure proper
functionality and performance standards are met. Job Type:
Temp-to-Hire Pay Rate: $20.00/hour plus OT Benefits: Excellent
benefits available after the successful completion of the temporary
period, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and more.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM with weekend
availability Refurb HVAC Technician - 1st Shift Responsibilities:
Assist senior technicians with disassembly and evaluation of HVAC
units and components Clean, repair, and refurbish HVAC equipment
under supervision Replace or repair components such as compressors,
condensers, evaporators, wiring, and sheet metal parts Support
troubleshooting efforts using diagnostic tools and testing
equipment Assist with installation of refurbished or new HVAC
components as needed Maintain documentation related to repairs,
parts used, and refurbishment work completed Follow all company
safety policies and industry best practices Perform additional
duties as assigned to support shop operations Refurb HVAC
Technician - 1st Shift Skills and Abilities: Basic mechanical
aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools Ability to work
effectively in a fast-paced, production-style environment Strong
willingness to learn HVAC systems and technical repair skills
Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with a team
Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship EPA 608
certification for refrigerant handling is a plus Refurb HVAC
Technician - 1st Shift Education and Experience: High school
diploma or equivalent preferred Interest in developing a career in
HVAC repair, refurbishment, or mechanical trades Refurb HVAC
Technician - 1st Shift Physical Requirements: Ability to work on
HVAC units in shop and outdoor environments Ability to stand or
remain in stationary positions for extended periods Ability to
climb ladders safely Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
