Job Description:
Venture Global LNG (“Venture Global”) is a long-term, low-cost
provider of American-produced liquefied natural gas. The company’s
Louisiana-based export projects service the global demand for North
American natural gas and support the long-term development of clean
and reliable North American energy supplies. Using reliable, proven
technology in an innovative plant design configuration, Venture
Global’s modular, mid-scale plant design will replace traditional
designs as it allows for the same efficiency and operational
reliability at significantly lower capital cost. We are seeking a
Associate Engineer, Instrument & Controls to join our team in
Houston, TX This role reports to the Manager of Instrumentation and
Controls. The role will be part of the team responsible for
ensuring that the Plant Instrumentation and Control Systems operate
as per design, in a safe and reliable manner with minimal downtime.
Responsibilities: Candidate will develop knowledge and
understanding of the complete Plant Instrument and Control system
equipment and will be assigned tasks including but not limited to:
Field Instrumentation for process measurement (e.g., Pressure,
Temperature, Level, Flow, etc.) Control Valves, Shutdown Valves
(Air, Gas, and Motor Operated), Analyzers (H2S, Moisture, etc.) Gas
Chromatographs, Flow Metering Systems (Ultrasonic, Coriolis,
Differential Pressure, etc.) and their transmission systems (e.g.
4-20mA, Hart, etc.). Plant Instrumented Control and Safety Systems,
Fire and Gas Systems, and Programmable Logic Controllers. Schematic
drawings, location drawings. Support the development of: Field
instrumentation specification and data sheets Key Performance
Indicators & Metrics for Instrument and Controls Instrument control
drawings and databases. Instrument Requisition and Technical
Evaluation. P&IDs Support with the Management of Change (MOC)
process Support Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) process
Qualifications: BS. or higher degree in Electrical, Electronics, or
Computer Engineering, preferably with specialization in Process
Control, Control systems, and Instrumentation. One (1) to four (4)
years’ experience working as an Engineer in a process plant
environment would be a plus. Venture Global LNG is an Equal
