Essential Responsibilities

• Launch a global data governance framework, with a focus on improvement of data quality and the protection of sensitive data through creation/modifications to policies, standards, principles, governance metrics, processes, related tools and data architecture
• Lead development and execution of a global Data Audit & Governance program for the OFS organization (i.e.: policy compliance, data stewardship operations, data quality audits)
• Operationalize master data management standards, procedures, and guidelines concerning data collection, access and management, integrations, enforce data governance procedures and ensure data integrity across multiple platforms
• Operationalize data definitions (data dictionary, taxonomies) and own maintenance through ongoing engagement with data domain owners, data stewards, and subscribing system owners
• Partner with OFSD Teams, Business Units, Global/Regional Finance Process Owners and IT on aspects of global and local data governance continually evolving business processes to streamline data management processes to drive data quality, process simplification, and enhanced analytics
• Partner with Data Architects and business SMEs to create and maintain a Business Data Model (BDM) for each data domain that is aligned across the enterprise
• Operationalize and Implement Metadata governance procedures within the organization
• Provide guidance and thought leadership on data security and classification aspects with engineering teams
• Identify and address operational risks related to data integrity
• Identify areas for data quality improvements and helps to resolve data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies
• Setup and manage a team of data stewards & analysts, provide training, feedback and development, performance management, distribution of work assignments, monitor process discipline and performance.
• Lead and manage the team on the MDM specific activities such as define the cleanse rules, survivorship, match rules, etc.
• Educate, influence and drive data governance strategies with key business stakeholders across multiple levels of the organization
• Define key performance indicators and quality metrics to track compliance with data related policies, standards, roles, responsibilities, and adoption requirements
• Serve as a process owner and subject matter expert for organizational governance, data quality and protection issues
• Multi-faceted role with responsibilities that will evolve to align to current business objectivesQualifications/Requirements
  • Strong business acumen with a minimum 10 years of related work experience, including 5+ years' experience in Data Governance & Stewardship with Enterprise-level MDM platform such as Informatica MDM, Stibo Step MDM, Riversand etc.
  • 3+ years' experience with data analysis, data quality, business data modeling, and reporting
  • Working Knowledge of MDM tools, processes trends, MDM Concepts and other technologies in the market
  • Excellent analytical skills required; must be able to quickly analyze master data issues for resolution - Experience with SAS, SQL and Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required
  • Ability to understand and document data flow through an end-to-end system landscape - (i.e.: source systems, data integration layers, 3rd party enrichment, consolidation, analytics and reporting platforms)
  • Strong track record of cross-functional project delivery - management of project timeline, implementation roadmap, stakeholder engagement, and go-live activities
  • Prior experience leading large-scale projects with highly matrixed global teams (internal and outsourced resources)
  • Strong understanding of data security, classification, and usage rights, ABAC, RBAC, Row Access, Column Masking
  • Understanding of data security frameworks and experience managing data privacy requirements
  • Working knowledge of core enterprise business applications and related processes (CRM, ERP)
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business vision into tactical execution
  • Experience designing and implementing organizational change management processesDesired Characteristics

    • PC proficiency (Excel, Power Point, Word, and Access)
    • Exceptional project management skills
    • Expertise in data profiling and data quality rule design
    • Knowledge of data related government regulatory requirements and emerging trends and issues

    • Experience managing global projects / programs in a large enterprise
