Job Description:

The Business Development Manager for Rehband in North America will be the main point of contact for Rehband wholesalers in USA and Canada. Main responsibility will be to manage and evaluate the existing wholesalers, identify opportunities, implement and monitor strategic sales and marketing initiatives as well as identifying new strategic wholesalers within the consumer business including pharmacy- and sports retail (including e-commerce focused retail) in North America. Business Development Manager will be reporting to the Global Business Manager of Rehband Stockholm AB.Responsibilities:

  • Increase sales for the full Rehband portfolio, including sport braces & support, compression wear, compression socks and Rx tape.
  • Build a strong Rehband presence in the sports retail and e-commerce consumer business.
  • Grow market share within in the key segments team sports, fitness & endurance/running.
  • Leading the sales team according to Rehband values and processes in order to reach sales target.
  • Setting the overall pricing strategy for the NA market in cooperation with Global Business Manager Rehband HQ.
  • Analyzing and forecasting market situation from the consumer & retailer perspective.
  • Optimize the own Rehband e-commerce channel within North America to enable the aggressive sales targets.
  • Be the key contact in the matrix organization for all Rehband North American related questions i.e., Finance, Legal, HR, Customer Service, IT, Warehouse & Logistics and be the coordinator so secure that the business is working in an efficient way.
  • Main point of contact for Rehband wholesalers.
  • Identifying future potential wholesalers.
  • Managing, negotiating and finalizing the wholesale agreements.
  • Managing and monitoring the sales development with strategic KPIs.
  • Implementing sales and marketing strategies based on the Global strategies set by Rehband Stockholm AB.
  • Implement Rehband Affiliate program (royalty program for digital influencers).
  • Contribute with input for the Rehband social media program.
  • Managing the rolling 12 month sales forecast for the North American market.
  • Recruit and manage sales employees according to local business plan developed together with Rehband Stockholm AB.
  • Assist in the process of setting up the e-commerce platform together with Ottobock Operation team.Qualifications
    • Bachelor degree, preferably in Business Administration.
    • Minimum 5-10 years' experience from consumer retail in a commercial role within sales, business development or marketing.
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of leadership experience.
    • Experience from the sports product industry.
    • International experience is a plus.
    • Minimum 3 years' experience from e-commerce/online business.
    • Strong strategic capability coupled with commercial orientation.
    • Strong ability to shift between strategic and executional areas of work.
    • Highly focused on top-line results and monitors the financial impact of activities.
    • Strong experience and interest in consumer retail, preferable from sports retail.
    • Strong ability to build strategic relations.
    • Goal oriented self-starter with a solutions driven approach
    • Strong ability to collaborate and influence internal and external parties
    • Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to convince an audienceJob Type: Full-timeExperience:
