Job Description:

Work Days: 4 weekdays & each Saturday Hours: 40 plus 6 hrs OT Summary Responsible for managing an assigned territory, comprised of franchise new car dealerships, to achieve indirect auto finance retail installment contract production in line with corporate objectives. Maintains relationships with existing dealerships, provides training on credit program, solicits contracts for qualified applicants and assists in resolving funding concerns. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

* Develop and conduct effective prospecting campaigns to achieve target application and contract volume objectives through franchise automobile dealerships. * Conducts training on FIFS credit guidelines with the dealership's sales & finance managers to effectively maximize production. * Maintains production through establishing relationships with existing dealership personnel. * Develops working relationships with the credit and funding departments to achieve desired volume and customer satisfaction levels. * Works with loan officer and funder to assist dealerships in resolving problems with contracts received in house. * Communicates frequently with the Regional Sales Manager in a collaborative manner to keep them involved in the progress within the territory. * Analyze available data to identify challenges and trends within assigned markets. * Prepares weekly itineraries, weekly call reports, mileage logs and Action Plans as required. * Actively participate in Weekly Sales Roundtable conference calls with Regional Team Members. Attend ad hoc calls and meetings as required. * Submits expense reports and mileage logs in a timely manner to their manager. * Complies with all company policies and procedures. * This position involves regular access to specified personal information of consumers, including, but not limited to, Social Security numbers and dates of birth.

Education and/or Experience The knowledge, skills and abilities are typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma or a general education degree (GED); five to seven years successful experience as a Dealer Relationship Manager for an indirect subprime finance company in a successful production environment. Proven retail automotive experience, preferably as a sub-prime finance manager, finance director or sales manager. Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic understanding of MS Office; specifically MS Excel and MS Word applications. Should be able to navigate in a MS10 environment for MS Outlook email and scheduling platforms. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Current valid driver's license, auto insurance coverage. Employee may be required, on a limited basis, to conduct overnight travel to meet the demands of their dealer base. Some employees will be required to attend meetings in a home office environment as needed.
