Company: Our client, a publicly-traded, acquisition-oriented, industrial/manufacturing company, seeks a take-charge professional to support the global human resources function for an operating segment. This company has an impressive history of growth both organically and through acquisitions, and anticipates significant growth in both revenue and earnings over the next 3-5 years. Our client has a high-quality, experienced & innovative management team. The company has a consistent track record of providing outstanding career opportunities to high potential financial professionals. This opportunity is located in Houston, TX. Position: Reporting to the VP of HR, this highly visible position will be responsible for being the HR business partner to develop and implement HR strategies on a global basis for this business unit. This hands-on, high-potential, driven professional will be responsible for initiatives including organizational development and succession planning, identification and assessment of high potential talent, human capital initiatives including talent acquisition strategies, compensation and equity issues, and other special projects and initiatives to improve the company. This person would be heavily involved in working with senior management in the operating groups facilitating continuous improvement efforts and driving change. There is high visibility and exposure in this role and it is expected the successful candidate will make a significant impact on the company. Requirements:

  • 4 + years of strong HR Business Partner experience including industrial or distribution environment.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
  • Experience partnering with business leaders & managers in implementing HR best practices.
  • Ability to support business leaders with developing & implementing tactical/strategic HR initiatives.
  • Change Management experience.
  • Knowledge of federal and state HR laws, specifically California, and best practices.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
  • Able to handle multiple tasks as well as the ability to prioritize and handle a demanding workload
  • Able to work independently and with little supervision, required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, required
  • Strong experience interpreting data and delivering the data in a concise manner to managers/leaders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Compensation:Excellent compensation program including salary and bonus. If needed, full relocation will be provided
