The team is global and takes a 360 degree approach to building success, working with VCs, Industry organizations, Customers and our Field teams. We partner with startup leaders to leverage Microsoft assets and drive their success through our global market footprint in the space. Responsibilities This role is focused a proven Customer Success leader who can develop and execute on our startup success strategy as we 10X our scale over the next year.--You will work with the Senior Director of the group to define the MfS strategy in this area. This will require you to have existing expertise from your work experience and aptitude to explore, influence and deploy the assets and resources available across Microsoft.--At its core, this means three things:Evolving customer success to be a "customer listening" channel for trends and learnings.Employing these customer learnings to influence across MicrosoftBringing product design oriented mindset to the customer success experience for startupsYou are a creative person who loves to learn, passionate about customers and startups, and focused on bringing results. You've worked successfully in the startup world enabling you to be empathetic about their challenges and pro-active with their needs. You will bring strategic rigor that will help us maximize results for our customers and our teams.You will be a meaningful part of an expanding team where we value variety in perspectives and backgrounds. Qualifications Required Qualifications: 3+ years managing customer success at technology company3+ years working in technical advisory, technical support, architecture, or related field5+ years working in a high functioning customer success team data driven refinement5+ years working in the technology spaceOther Qualifications: Demonstrated ability to craft and reliably execute strategy through use of OKRsRigorous and methodical approach to problem solving leveraging dataAn ability to take responsibility for the delivery of resultsA work experience that has allowed you to develop a well-rounded perspective on life that you combine with humility, empathy, and a positive attitudeAn ability to speak to and engage with execs from different industries as well as first time founders or serial entrepreneursExperience in working in a business that is scaling up in an ever-changing environment with multiple variables in playA desire to learn and grow and to help others do soGood organizational skills and an eye for detailStrong written and verbal communication skills where you are equally comfortable interacting across all levels of an organizationNice to Have: Experience working in enterprise software cloud computing, like AzureExperience leading cross functionally in a large organizations.Experience working in and around startups with deep empathy for their needs#microsoftforstartups
