Inside Sales Manager - Cellular IoT
Location: Houston, TX (Relocation available)Salary: $120,000-$140,000 + 50-100% Bonus
Role Summary: The Inside Sales Manager will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives through a full life-cycle sales process. They should be comfortable with a high volume of daily direct report interactions working to generate interest, qualify prospects develop solutions, close sales and engage the projects team to fulfill orders. This individual must demonstrate excellent customer service and professionalism through varied digital communication modalities. Reports to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Role Priorities / Responsibilities:

  • Direct all inside sales team members to conduct effective prospecting calls and meetings with prospects and existing customers.
  • Train existing and new inside sales representatives on successful methodologies to identify (through individual research) qualify and close sales opportunities as well as marcom generated leads.
  • Drive team to ensure actualization of product line revenue targets within assigned market verticals.
  • Effectively define and communicate value propositions to team members and customers.
  • Develop and maintain a working relationship with Outside Sales Managers and Operations Managers within your assigned product line to maximize utilization and revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with projects and service delivery teams to effectively deliver on customer commitments.
  • Direct Inside sales representatives to management accounts by objectives and expand relationships and revenues generated from existing customers, including Strategic Accounts, - Ensure the inside Sales Representatives are consistently working to enhance the overall customer experience.
    • Efficiently execute duties in a call center environment while owning the administration of the web-based communications hub and CRM platform.
    • Assist in creation of selling strategies and marketing materials, ensure each team member is consistently investing time to develop their selling skills. Essential Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
      • Demonstrated ability to lead the process to effectively prospect, qualify leads, develop a solution and close for the order while recording interactions in CRM tool.
      • Prepare and present professional presentations and proposals both online and in person.
      • Ability to enthusiastically provide and direct team to provide exceptional customer service.
      • Ability to prioritize team activities in a highly dynamic and time-sensitive environment.
      • Knowledge of Salesforce.com or a related CRM tools.
      • Experience negotiating masters supply agreements and service contracts.
      • Experience leading teams to produce measurable success against sales KPI's. Preferred Qualifications, Education or Certifications (if applicable):
        • 4-year college degree preferred
        • 5+ years of B2B sales and account management experience using a consultative and/or solution selling approach
        • 5+ years of B2B sales management experience in a dynamic, high growth organizationIn the telecommunications, IoT, cellular data
