Our client is a US, Houston based Direct to Consumer beauty & wellness company. Originally used in the fashion, print, television and film industries, our client has redefined the traditional beauty routine with it's at home, flawless airbrush systems. Complementing the airbrush systems are a full line of innovative color cosmetics and skincare product. Their US growth in the last five years has built a strong brand recognition with over 5 million customers. Our client and its products can be seen in the pages of publications like InStyle, Allure, Cosmo, Vogue and in 2018 the brand was recognized in Women's Wear Daily as the company to watch in beauty.
Position Summary

We're looking for an energetic and ambitious professional who will lead important growth areas for our company, working closely with the CEO/Founder and across the Executive team to execute with efficiency and excellence. The right candidate will hold a high level of integrity and thrive in fast-paced collaborative environments, with a focus on driving strategy. The Vice President/Head of Sales is responsible for creating and executing a strong sales strategy across a variety of existing channels including retail partners such as QVC, Nieman Marcus, Nordstrom, ecommerce partners such as Amazon, and catalog partners such as BlueStem. Further, this role will be responsible for driving new sales opportunities including global expansion and partnerships, professional and trade related sales opportunities with makeup artists, schools and salons. Working cross functionally with the Executive team, this individual will help steer a sales roadmap while building a supporting team and identifying outside resources necessary to achieve goals. The successful candidate will have demonstrated a strong grasp, knowledge and expertise in the retail, digital commerce, and global sales space and is able to develop, execute, measure and report on the initiatives in these spaces.

Primary Responsibilities

Identify, qualify, and secure business opportunities, while also coordinating ongoing revenue generation activities.
Determine engagement strategies that build and grow presence across key markets, specifically with existing partners like QVC & Amazon.com.
Lead and manage broker partner relationships to maximize business outcomes.
Act as liaison between sales, marketing, supply chain, and operations on key item launches and promotional periods.
Develop weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales objectives.
Provide cross functional sales and KPI reports.
Assess costs, competition, and supply and demand to identify selling prices.
Forecasting sales volume and profit for current and new products.
Identify market, account, and product gap opportunities and develop sales direction and solutions to achieve these growth opportunities
Work Collaboratively and effectively with IT, Marketing, supply chain and other cross functional teams.

Basic Requirements

Beauty industry experience - skin care, color cosmetics, and devices.
Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
Multiple years (10+) of experience in marketing or sales or CX roles requiring data analysis, process improvements, creative problem solving, and cross-functional collaboration.
High attention to detail.
Collaborative problem-solving skills.
Highly organized with proven multi-tasking ability.
Strong analytical mind with process orientation l and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal skills, and an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.
Passionate and knowledgeable about customer behavior.
Ability to analyze data quantitatively and use customer research, data and metrics to back up assumptions, identify opportunities, and assess the efficacy of merchandising programs.
Experience creating and/or improving operational processes across teams/stakeholders
Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results.
