An experienced Project Manager! Project Management experience, PMP Certification (preferred), health care experience (heavily preferred), client facing experience (vending for an external client and developing toward deliverables preferred as well). Someone who can be polished and professional. Smartsheet software is management tool (preferred), someone who is coachable and willing to learn the technology and ways to perform well.The Business Project Manager II leads large scale new business implementations in support of business growth. In some cases, the Business PM II may be asked to participate in, or lead, unique or high-profile business initiatives. The Business PM's role is to serve as the client liaison for business implementation activities. This person leads the project team, ensure seamless and timely execution of all deliverables, and keep the strategic goals front and center throughout the process. The Business PM II must possess and demonstrate exceptional communication and facilitation skills and effectively manage competing priorities. Additionally, they must also demonstrate an ability to motivate team members, drive change, and facilitateproblem solving discussions to effectively lead the implementation and operational readiness teamPRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead large scale team engagements that include multiple deliverables.
  • Participate in, or lead, unique or high-profile business initiatives unrelated to new client business
  • Act as key contact with clients to ensure client needs are met; ensure timeline and deliverables stay on target.
  • Become valued partner to clients, and ensure client and team keep goals top-of-mind.
  • Develop and manage strategy sessions, such as brainstorming sessions, with client and team members to identify actionable business solutions.
  • Seek input from key stakeholders on requirements, leveraging this information to effectively lead and manage to the client contract and/or state and federal regulations.
  • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communication documents, provide documentation and plans that are client-facing.
  • Identify issues and risks, develop mitigation plans and drive open items to closure.
  • Understand and communicate roles, responsibilities and expectations with subject matter experts; continually manage expectations and escalate when they are not met.
  • Lead and attend meetings (in person and/or via teleconference) with internal and external customers in a professional and polished manner adhering to company policies.
  • Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the implementation.
  • Provide clear and concise documentation that represents key business decisions and obtain sign-off from stakeholders.
  • Gather information and facilitate Lessons Learned reviews; use the outcome of lessons learned to improve processes within new business implementations, both in the NBI team, and with subject matter experts.
  • Ensure deliverables are completed in alignment with all requirements and quality expectations.
  • Other duties as needed or required.Required:
    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
    • 3 years' experience in a leadership, project management, or client liaison role.
    • Previous experience in Healthcare or Health Insurance preferred; experience in new business implementations a plus.
    • Entrepreneurial and independent, but also a collaborator and valued team player.
    • Proven experience managing expectations and managing cross-functional teams and resources that do not have direct reporting relationship.
    • Knowledge of managing business projects and concepts through project management principles.
    • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks with competing timelines; work well under pressure.
    • Strong facilitation skills and ability to manage business related discussions, influence key stakeholders, and drive leaders towards decisions.
    • Expert in issue management, risk identification, and risk reduction & mitigation.
    • Capable of implementing process improvements to deliver new business implementations more efficiently.
    • Solid judgment in applying operational strategies to successfully implement business concepts.
    • Ability to seamlessly lead large projects including managing both internal and client teams.
    • Creativity to solve unique and wide-ranging business challenges.
    • Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills with all levels of the organization.
    • Ability to initiate and drive changes in process, methodology, and other project management related areas.
    • Ability to embrace change and positively influence change in a dynamic working environment.
    • Demonstrated use of sound and proven project management practices and tools, including MS Office, MS Project, SharePoint and other business management tools.
    • Attends additional training as requested/deemed necessary
