Zoetica is growing and we are looking for a Social Media Project Manager to join our team. We are looking for 2-4 years of experience. While this job is remote, we prefer the candidate to be able to attend occasional live meetings in Houston (driving distance preferred).
We are searching for a full-time social media manager to serve on several of our marquee client accounts and manage Zoetica's social media channels. Zoetica is a great place for someone who wants to get world-class social media management experience in a boutique agency with an award-winning team that is known in Houston for social media!
Zoetica works with midsized to enterprise brands to support their communication with their community through social media. We have great clients that value us as a partner.
Also, we were a remote team before the pandemic, so we know how to do it right. We use a teaming environment at Zoetica, which means that everyone is important here. Depending on your assignment, you will sometimes serve as a primary liaison with the client and in others, you will work closely with others on the Zoetica team to fulfill client needs.
This position is perfect for someone who thrives in an environment where you can set your own schedule. It might not be a fit for someone who needs the structure of an office environment, though we do all interact on Slack regularly.
Your responsibilities will include:

  • Social media channel management and content creation of captions, graphics and video for clients and Zoetica
  • Community management of multiple platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and, more).
  • Social media measurement reports and other tasks as assigned Requirements
    • 2-4 years of experience using social media for business and have a demonstrated ability to grow a community of followers
    • Strong organizational skills and proven work experience as a social media coordinator or manager in a company or agency environment.
    • Strong speaking skills as you will be interfacing with clients over Zoom and other channels.
    • Expertise in multiple social media platforms, especially Instagram and Facebook.
    • Familiarity with content creation tools such as Canva and other similar apps (please specify any that you have used). -
    • Understanding of online marketing strategies and how to connect social media to business results.
    • Ability to gasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactively.
    • Excellent communication skills. Must be able to confidently lead conversations with corporate clients.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Multitasking and analytical skills. -
    • BA in Communications, PR, Marketing, Social Media, or relevant field. Other majors will be considered with commensurate experience.
    • Must live in the Houston Metro area. Though the position is work from home, we do have occasional client meetings and the monthly SMBHOU.
