Grants Administration ManagerThe Grants Administration Manager is responsible for conducting the full range of activities required to prepare, submit, and manage grant proposals and reports for public and private funders to secure revenue to support the mission within the framework of council policies, standards, goals, objectives and budget.This position will contribute to the overall fundraising strategy and programmatic development; establish, cultivate and maintain relationships with corporate and foundation officers; recommend and meet the corporate, foundation, and government grant goals each fiscal year; identify funding sources and manage the research process to assign giving priority; prepare, write, edit and submit grant proposals, applications, reports and letters of inquiry; Manage donor benefit process and assure compliance with all grant requirements; interface with other departments relative to grant requirements and funding sources, including creating of grants timeline based on funding needs, to be coordinated at least on an annual basis, and obtaining necessary information to make the grant fundable; generate financial information, including budgets and financial reports for proposals and reports, in collaboration with program and accounting; prepare final reports in response to granting agencies, coordinating with the department responsible for administering the grant; serve as personal interface with foundation representatives on grant status as requested; take lead on Raisers Edge Grant Tracking implementation and provide reminders to development staff for grant deadlines gather information necessary to report to funders on current and/or completed grant programs and develop accurate and compelling accounts of how the funding is spent; comply with all grant reporting as required by funders; work cooperatively with the Database Manager to coordinate a solicitation program and gift acknowledgement for all constituent groups; assist in development and implementation of annual development budget and long-term strategic plan; provide support to the Chief Marketing & Development Officer and others within the department as needed; serve as a member of the Development Committee; attend Development events. This person will also manage the flow of donor information throughout the department and the organization, manage the grant calendar, outline the upcoming fiscal year's grant cycle and fundraising goal, update the Raisers Edge database with pertinent information, and safeguard the confidentiality of donor information at all times.​​​​​Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) from a 4-year college or university in social sciences, marketing, or business or three to five year's experience and/or training; or equivalent combination education and experience evidencing competency in writing, research, fund development, budget development and administration..
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word).
  • Must be able to work from home, as needed, to include high speed home internet access, accessibility to a non-distracting and uninterrupted space with adequate lighting and ergonomically adequate work-space.
