The Team

Deloitte's Talent Marketing & Communications team is focused on Deloitte's talent positioning internally and externally and is aligned with Deloitte's Talent priorities including Recruiting; Talent Brand; Rewards, Recognition, and Well-being; Learning & Development; Deloitte University; Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion; Alumni; PPMD Talent; Life@Deloitte; and Awards. The Role

As part of the Talent Marketing & Communications team, the Talent Strategic Marketing Senior Manager, will work with Marketing & Communications and Talent leadership to define a multiyear strategy for building, amplifying and measuring our external employer brand. You'll help design the brand experience across the entire employee lifecycle, from recruits to alumnus, supporting and enhancing key points of that experience that help position Deloitte as an employer of choice to excite, engage and retain our people. The ideal candidate for this role will be a creative, collaborative marketing professional with experience in talent brand management, campaign design and execution, and measurement. The role will report to the Talent Marketing & Communications Leader.

As a leader on the team, you will:

  • Develop, maintain, and drive prioritization of all marketing and communications campaign activities for Talent Experience; plan and manage marketing budgets for campaigns and develop KPIs to assess campaign success
  • Work with the Talent Experience team to brainstorm, define short-term tactics and long-term strategies to enhance the employee experience
  • Set strategy and craft compelling strategic briefs (business case) for proposed marketing and communications campaigns
  • Maintain a collaborative, problem-solving working relationship with internal stakeholders
  • Ensure employer brand identity and consistency across employee lifecycle channels and communities (recruiting to alumnus)
  • Bring stories to life across Deloitte internal and external channels (social, website, media, etc.) in ways that are easy to understand, inspiring, compel people to act, and show that Deloitte is a great place to work
  • Engage our internal agency on the successful execution of campaigns; oversee the on-time and on-budget delivery of campaigns
  • Collaborate with other business and industry marketers to develop complementary brand strategies, amplify messages and maximize impact that will excite, engage and retain
  • Collaborate with PR to develop a related media strategy, including trade and tier one targeting
  • Develop and deliver regular reporting on impact, success stories and ROI to Talent leadership and other key stakeholders
  • Manage team members, focused on providing learning opportunities and career development opportunities as you partner to serve the business.
    Skills and competencies:
    • Ability to grasp a deep understanding of the Deloitte employee lifecycle and internal and external personas
    • Ability to make connections in highly matrixed environment, with an eye towards integration
    • Strong persuasive communication skills; able to gain consensus through influence and pivot when needed
    • Executive presence with a client-centric approach and a demonstrated ability to take initiative
    • High level of comfort with ambiguity and fluid priorities; ability to manage multiple, complex priorities-must be both flexible and adaptable
    • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
    • Strategic and innovative thinker
    • Ability to work in a virtual environment
      • 15+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on talent brand and experience
      • Deep understanding of marketing planning with an ability to execute tactically
      • Deep understanding of integrated marketing and communications strategies and how they come together to provide measurable results
      • Previous experience in B2B marketing; professional services experience is strongly preferred
      • Previous experience leading and developing a team of both direct and indirect reports
      • Superior Microsoft Office skills (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with integrating various technologies to support marketing efforts
      • Undergraduate degree, ideally with a focus in Marketing
      • Limited immigration sponsorsip may be available
      • Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
