SUMMARYThe purpose of this position is to support individual,
multi-disciplined real estate project solutions for corporate
clients, with planning and managing business transition and move
management projects. This position requires direct leadership on
the overall direction of an occupancy planning, relocation or
decommissioning projects.The ideal candidate will also have the
ability to effectively and professionally work with people of
various disciplines and levels within a corporate environment,
including real estate, facility management and IT teams, C-level
executives, department heads, administrative assistants, and
end-users; as well as the project team, including: construction
managers, architects, engineers, building managers and physical
movers.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Determine CBRE resource requirements,
allocate time commitments and tasks and establish project
fees.Develop project scope and subtasks for CBRE team membersCreate
PowerPoint presentations for client s executive level
managementCommunicate scope assigned to staff and manage progress
and outcomePrepare complex project schedules and manage milestones
in MS ProjectCreate client specific process or documentation for
CBRE team useUtilize BTMM standardized processes and
documentationCreate master project files using BOXMonitor the
approved fee vs expended fee and report status monthlyProvide high
level look ahead schedules in Power Point or other form acceptable
to clientDevelop overall relocation strategy; prepare and
distribute relocation charterDevelop detailed move plans as per
BTMM processOversee and lead relocation team; document and
distribute meeting minutesCoordinate and chair move team meetings;
document and distribute meeting minutesDevelop detailed move scope
of work for vendorsDevelop move communications plan; generate
newsletters, placements and move instructionsDevelop and train
departmental move coordinatorsDevelop and manage overall relocation
budget; track in excel or SmartsheetDevelop relocation schedule in
MS Project identifying major tasks and resources requiredDevelop
project contingency plans, document and trackDevelop scopes of work
for each subcontracted service associated with the projectDevelop
and issue Requests for Proposal for all move-related vendors;
provide bid analysis and recommendationsDevelop move database using
Microsoft Excel or SmartsheetGenerate move database, using mail
merge to develop pre-printed move labels, signage and
drawingsCreate and provide reporting on internal and external
service level agreements and KPI sDevelop detailed move logistics
plan for all move phases in MS Project or ExcelAudits move process
for best practices, lessons learned and process improvementCreate
and manage post move survey process, report resultsCoordinate post
move activities and lessons learnedCreate Case StudyProvide move
metrics data to manager (size, number, vendor cost breakdown,
survey results, etc.).REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Education &
Experience:A bachelor s degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or
university and a minimum of four years of related experience in
more than one of the following areas: move management, facility
management, interior design, architecture, engineering, or related
field.Software Skills: Candidate must have expert command of
Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint,
Smartsheet), WebEx and/or Skype and Project with strong emphasis on
managing, editing and manipulating (mail merge) large Excel files
and complex Word documents. Experience in Microsoft Publisher,
Bluebeam and/or AutoCAD.Must have prior experience managing moves
larger than 300 people.Excellent communication and interpersonal
skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to
effectively communicate with people in all levels of the
organization (admins to CEO)Must be able to present to large groups
of people (50 - 500)Must be able to provide calm reassurance to
client and help them through very stressful phases of
projectsProvide coaching to subordinates or vendors where needed to
deliver a high-level of customer serviceAdvanced leadership
abilities: Take charge approach to instill confidence with client;
ability to persuade client to make different decisions, when
neededExpert ability to lead project meetings using WebEx or
SkypeAbility to view project requirements at both a macro and micro
