Job Description:

*Southwind Building Products* has an opening for a *Territory Sales Manager* for the Houston, TX. region.

The *Territory Sales Manager *earns a base salary, plus commission and is responsible for finding and maintaining business and building relationships with flooring retailers in compliance with established Company standards and procedures.

*Job Duties/Responsibilities: * (Listed in order of importance)

Develop and maintain customer and potential customer relationships.

Develop and maintain business to achieve assigned sales goals.

Develop and implement sales strategies to reach customers.

Develop and maintain customer relationships through in person visits and other means of contact

Performs other duties as assigned by management.

*Supervision Received: *

* Works with minimal level of supervision. Issues and concerns need to be communicated to the Regional Vice President of Sales

*Authority and Accountability: *

* Accountable to management for timeliness and accuracy of work completed.
* Exceptional written and oral communication skills and listening skills.
* Analytical skills with ability to process data.
* Proficiency with computer applications including Microsoft Office applications.
* Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy required.

*Physical Requirements: *

* This job requires up to 8 hours per day sitting and using office equipment and computers.
* Lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
* Climbing stairs may be required.

*Requirements*

* Ability to be personally accountable for time management.
* Four-year college degree in applicable field preferred; five or more years' experience in sales and or marketing in the flooring industry required.
* Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. repetitively.
