This includes the analysis and facilitation of trade-offs among assets, through collaboration with other key partners to support optimization across all assets.What You Will Do:Develops asset performance plans and initiatives with targets for achieving strategic objectives, which will form the basis of the budget and long range plan for those assets.Implement and maintain the vision/strategy for communicating with our customers and delivering exceptional best-in-class services.Maintains customer interface and coordination of internal resources supporting these assets.Works closely with existing customers to build positive relationships while optimizing the current assets and planning for future growth.Drives resolution of customer complaints, needs, or conflicts by working with internal and external partners to resolve issues and look for the win/win.Provides day to day focus on operational matters that are a key consideration in measuring customer satisfaction with Enbridge's performance.Addresses new operational issues that may arise that were not contemplated in the existing contracts.Recommends and follows through with contract modifications where required.Proactively leads internal and customer decision-making related to notices, landmarks, elections, etc. within the contracts by providing ongoing management of existing contracts and initiates value-adding innovations.Supports or leads regular meetings with existing customer groups as required and ensures timely correspondence relating to changes in operating conditions, tariffs, pro-rationing events, etc.Develops and maintains a process with each customer to ensure a timely link into planning and forecasting.Works closely with other LP departments to maximize asset performance including effective project development and management for the gulf coast assets. In addition, you will collaborate, gather, consolidate and utilize business intelligence and external business conditions to assure optimal asset performance and recommend operating strategies for ongoing commercial optimization.Oversees the overall performance management, competency, morale, compensation and engagement of the team.Who You Are:Required:Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics or related area.Minimum of 10 years of progressive management experience in pipeline industry.Proven track record of improving results and successful negotiations.Strong social skills coupled with exemplary negotiation capabilities.Ability to lead a growing portfolio while maintaining a solid understanding of the details.Proven leadership experience with a focus on mentorship and enhancing team efficiencies.Ability to work effectively with senior representatives (VP, Director level) of existing and prospective customers and senior leadership of internal departments.Preferred:5 years of experience leading and managing a team, with responsibility for long-term and annual planning.Masters Degree in Business, Economics or related area.Possesses formal education on strategic planning.Possesses strong strategic thinking and business analytical skills, market insight; communication and influence skills, intuition for business, financial acumen, and creativity to develop innovative solutions.Possesses strong computer and mathematical skills for financial projections/analysis.Demonstrates outstanding judgment and decision-making.Working Conditions:Office conditions, some travel within North America to asset locations.Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 45 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement.Mental Requirements include but are not limited to:Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.Enbridge Flex-Work ProgramEnbridge provides competitive workplace programs that differentiate us and offer flexibility to our team members.
