looking for a Sr finance leader and partner with the businesses to
ensure that the capital strategies are operationally supported and
strategically focused to secure the greatest return on investments.
Lead strategic financial analytics that help strategy formation,
business planning, and financial forecasts for the company. Gather
financial data, build holistic driver-based models, contemplate
scenarios, and translate financial impact to strategy and execution
plan needed. Drive adoption and ensure consistency of such
financial models. Lead alignment, adoption, and process
improvement.How Youll Make Your Mark:
- Build bottoms up financial modelling on key P&L metrics.
Lead end-to-end Orders plan model, interlock, communication, and
business operations alignment with key stakeholders
- Own the consistent Order to Revenue forecasts by geo and by
product segment. Drive the adoption and ensure consistency on
definition and methodology across teams and systems
- Design and lead an investment review framework for HPE that
assess spend by projects across business units, functions, and
traditional vs aaS. Build the process from planning to forecasts to
track and report such spend. Build the ROI analysis to enable
investment prioritization decision making
- Partner with Corp Strategy to build industry benchmark or
competitive analysis on key financial metrics. Create project ideas
to continue to drive Enterprise value creation and business and
financial outcome optimizations
- Develop executive level presentation and analytics for reviews
with CEO, CFO, Board of Directors, and Analyst meetings
- Lead the strategic analytics team by setting priorities and
initiatives, recruiting & developing talents, and ensuring timely
and effective delivery of such priorities
- Partner with system team to implement simplification and
automation system capabilitiesWhat Youll Need:Education and
Experience Required:
- Bachelor degree with a focus in business or economics; advanced
degree and/or certification (e.g., MBA, Masters degree, CPA)
preferred.
- Typically 12+ years of experience in a finance function or
exhibiting an exceptionally strong background in some other
relevant and applicable areas of business.
- Typically 6+ years of people management experience.Knowledge
and Skills:
- Superior ability to provide finance consultation to senior
leaders within area of expertise.
- Excellent business acumen and financial analysis skills.
- Ability to build partnerships across functions.
- Strong leadership and staff development skills. Ability to
lead, develop and up-level a team of talents across
geographies.
- Excellent communication skills catered to a wide variety of
audiences.
- Excellent consulting, influence, and negotiation skills.
- Superior project management and prioritization skills.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and policies.What
