About the Job
The Global Compliance Program Manager works collaboratively to
manage initiatives particular to global, regional, and local
operations set forth by the corporation regarding Social and
Environmental Responsibility (SER) and Business Continuity
Management (BCM). This opportunity assures SER & BCM preparedness
at global, regional, and local sites of residence in conjunction
with worldwide teams. This is a crucial role with a wide-reaching
set of responsibilities to ensure Foxconn is compliant and leading
the industry in SER and BCM.
Location: Houston, TX
Job Responsibilities
--- Coordinate through supervisors the management of sectional or
departmental SER/BCM-related activities across multiple functional
areas.
--- Communicate corporate key performance goals to regional and
local management teams across the organization.
--- Participate in and/or lead regional internal audits and
worldwide cross audits as needed.
--- Support 3rd party and customer audits as needed; provide
ongoing direction to site team members who have local
responsibility for SER/BCM activities.
--- Manage SER/BCM program and project teams through the
development and maintenance of comprehensive program plans.
--- Help to define short-term SER/BCM program goals and develop
detailed plans to achieve those goals.
--- Assist in developing tactical plans to ensure the most
efficient utilization of the organization's resources.
--- Assist with developing, evaluating, and in some situations
implementing new SER/BCM initiatives and opportunities.
--- Support the overall SER/BCM process with detailed and thorough
analyses/review.
--- Advise management of ongoing issues and priorities, recommend
courses of action, and escalate issues as needed.
--- Maintain up to date technical knowledge on subject matter
through proactive research and learning and seeking out training
opportunities.
--- Effectively handle multiple priorities requiring frequent
interpretation of policy and procedure; anticipate problems and
develop contingency plans as needed.
--- Develop effective working relationships with both internal and
external customers and outside vendors; anticipate and identify
stakeholder needs on an ongoing basis.
--- Address prejudice and other intolerant behavior in others.
Education and Experience
--- Bachelor's Degree preferred in Environmental, Health, and
Safety, Environmental Engineering, or related field
--- 4+ years of experience in Program and or Project Management
--- 4+ years of working experience in Social Environment
Responsibility
--- 4+ years Business Continuity Management experience
Preferred Skills and Abilities
--- Ability to apply intermediate subject matter knowledge to solve
common SER/BCM issues within established guidelines and recommend
appropriate course of action.
--- Strong analytical skills and detailed, thorough research
approach to support the overall SER/BCM process
--- Ability/knowledge to draw insights and make recommendations to
managers based on findings and observations.
--- Clear understanding of SER/BCM standards and proven ability to
evaluate processes and /or services against those standards.
--- Displayed ability leading project teams within areas of
expertise or familiarity
--- Willingness to challenge the status quo then make
recommendations for new initiatives
--- Intermediate to thorough knowledge in analysis methods as well
as general SER/BCM and industry knowledge
--- Ability to align current actions with organizational
strategy
--- Intermediate to thorough knowledge of employee health, safety,
and labor management organizations, environmental organizations and
relevant standards, documentation processes and procedures
--- Outstanding communication and demonstrational/presentational
skills to promote the implementation of SER/BCM standards across
different organizational business units and functions
--- Formal auditing experience
--- Business Continuity Management experience
