Overview



















As an Air Permitting Project Manager for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) you will lead air permitting and regulatory compliance programs for private-sector clients with complex technical/regulatory issues primarily in the oil & gas industry. Additional industry groups that you may support include manufacturing, power, and mining. You'll leverage existing oil and gas client relationships and develop new relationships with clients while leaning on your knowledge and experience to develop effective permitting and compliance strategies to help maintain operating flexibility. You will also represent the company at conferences and in meetings to resolve project issues, plan and coordinate work, and negotiate contracts. You will also help to grow an O&G air practice in Texas/Oklahoma and work closely with other CEC air quality practice members across the country to develop opportunities, build business relationships, apply best practices to address client needs. You will mentor junior and mid-level staff in the proper planning and execution of air quality projects and directing or conducting technical reviews of client deliverables.



























Qualifications

• BS in engineering (chemical or environmental), environmental science, or related degree
• 5+ years of relevant experience in air quality/compliance
• Consulting or industry experience for the oil & gas industry working with Federal and State air regulations and air regulatory permitting and compliance in Texas and/or Oklahoma
• Established relationships with Texas Commission on Environmental Quality and/or Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality, and other regional air pollution control agencies
• Exceptional communication skills, strategic thinking, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Established relationships with industrial trade and professional organizations as well as oil & gas companiesHere's What We'd Like to See:

  • Experience in Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, Louisiana, and North and South Dakota
