Job Description:
**Overview:** The Credit Process Manager will assist in managing
and monitoring credit originations. The person in this role will
have strong knowledge of the credit risk function and credit
reporting. In addition, this role requires proficiency in a variety
of analytic methods and techniques as well as the application of
such techniques using statistical and reporting tools.
Responsibilities include gathering and processing data for various
types of reporting including performance, test/control, trend
analysis, credit analytics as well as automating such reporting and
delivering to end users. Other responsibilities may include
researching, analyzing, and implementing solutions using
statistical methodologies and application of business rules. This
position will help the organization drive revenue and reduce loss
rates through effective credit risk management and support
leadership with reporting on various projects and strategic
initiatives. **Key Duties & Responsibilities:** + Design, develop,
deploy, and maintain business solutions and reporting in support of
sales growth and cost improvement initiatives. + Process, cleanse,
and standardize data from multiple sources. Perform quality control
on data by analyzing patterns and data discrepancies. + Create and
maintain dashboards, segmentation reports and financial summary
results. + Execute creation of credit reporting from ideation to
deployment. + Automate the generation of reporting and delivery to
end users. + Work with both internal and external data sources to
create and reconcile data files and ensure accuracy of data
processing. + Be responsible for identifying and utilizing best
practices of data analysis and reporting to ensure accurate
results. + Participate in testing of solutions such as user
acceptance testing and post-deployment monitoring. + Maintain
accurate and complete documentation of processes and initiatives. +
Create and update Excel documents and pivot tables with efficiency.
+ Complete credit analytics, as needed, to support business growth
and risk mitigation. + Take personal responsibility to ensure that
you adhere to all regulatory requirements and apply appropriate
controls in the interest of the company. + Be accountable. + Be a
team player. + This is a senior level position and is required to
work independently with less guidance of manager. + Mentor and
coach more junior-level team members. + Other duties as assigned.
**Required Experience** + Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics,
Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or other related field of
study. + Knowledge and experience in financial or retail industry
with an understanding of credit risk. + 3+ years of related
experience involving reporting, credit analytics, customer
segmentation and other risk management analyses. + 3+ years of
hands-on experience using SQL, SAS or Python and writing code to
extract, clean, and process data, create variables and explore
patterns and relationships. + Working knowledge with relational
database using procedures to extract, clean, manipulate, transfer
data, create variables and generate reports. + Experience with
statistics and analysis to explore patterns and identify meaningful
relationships. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel,
Word, PowerPoint. Advanced proficiency in Excel including creating
and using pivot tables. **Preferred Experience** + Master's degree
preferred. + Credit analytics experience using credit bureau data.
**Skills & Abilities:** + Sound analytical and reporting skills

with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate
significant amounts of information with attention to detail and
accuracy. + Knowledge and experience with reporting packages and
advanced proficiency in Excel. + Preferred prior experience working
with credit bureaus and other industry vendors. + Ability to work
independently or with minimal guidance to identify and escalate
issues and support issue resolution. + Perpetual interest in
learning something new, a passion for problem-solving, comfort with
ambiguity, and creativity. + Excellent communicator and creative
thinker, with an ability to use data to inform decisions. +
Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and
shift priorities, as required. + Strong organizational skills with
attention to detail and high level of personal accountability. +
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills. +
Self-motivated. + Strong competency of the English language.
