Job Description:
DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Suites by the Galleria, located in
the upscale Galleria area is looking for an experienced hotel Sales

Required Skills and Abilities:
-At least three (3) years of previous hotel sales manager
experience required
-Delphi/Sales Force experience highly preferred
-Strong ability to multitask and perform required sales
administrative duties
-Previous Hilton experience a plus
-Extensive knowledge of Food and Beverage etiquette, guest
relations and service standards.
-Strong interpersonal skills to assess client needs, negotiate
pricing, effectively deal with internal and external guests and
provide overall guest satisfaction
Job Description:
-Direct and indirect solicitation, conduct persuasive verbal sales
presentations to prospective clients for annual, weekday and
weekend business.
-Maintain client relationships, up-sell products and services,
closing the best opportunities for the property based on market
conditions and property needs.
-Understand assigned market segments, competitors' strengths and
weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand etc. and sell
against them to meet monthly and quarterly goals.
-Conduct property tours and promote facilities and services.
-Create banquet event orders, write contracts and letters, in
relation to assigned market segments.
