Seeking a Director of Quality (Manufacturing) for an energy-related client in Houston, TX. - Base salary up to $160k DOE plus 20% bonus opportunity and benefits - Houston - 4 days per week in office / 1 day WFH - up to 20% travel within the US

• Bachelors Degree and 10+ years manufacturing experience (operations / quality) required Role Responsibilities: - Responsible for overall company quality function and company-wide quality policies - Perform administrative management and analysis of customer quality and internal quality - Ensure over-all customer satisfaction by managing policies and procedures. - Develop and manage KPIs and quality metrics. - Establish and maintain a corporate internal quality auditing program. - Identify organizational risks and facilitation of risk mitigation activities in alignment with ISO 9001. - Assists supply chain management team in Supplier development and compliance. - Manage third-party inspections for the company. - Assist manufacturing plants in all functions, compliance, and processes (Quality and Operations related) and guidance on ASME - Manage resources for continual improvement using Lean Manufacturing principles. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in engineering and/or equivalent technical expertise - 10+ years of related work experience in a manufacturing environment in a quality or operations leadership role - Knowledge of Welding Processes and Weld inspection preferred - In-depth understanding of Lean principles and their application (Black Belt Six Sigma a plus) - Working knowledge of ASME/AWS fabrication. Experience with controls and automation is a plus. - ASME and AWS D1.1 Experience preferred - Working knowledge of supplier / SCM quality, fabrication, inspection, and testing
