POSITION SUMMARY:

The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Analyst is responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive information by designing and implementing security controls to manage identities, access, and authentication. This individual will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to ensure that access controls are in place, maintain regulatory compliance, and support the overall security posture of the company.

JOB FUNCTIONS AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain, manage, implement, and improve upon identity and access management processes and systems, including user provisioning, password management, and multi-factor authentication.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
• Manage and monitor access control policies and procedures to ensure that accounts have the appropriate level of access to sensitive information and systems.
• Investigate security incidents and provide recommendations for remediation.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure that security policies and procedures are consistently applied.
• Keep up to date with emerging security threats, technologies and best practices and work with a team to implement them as necessary.
• Participate in risk assessments and provide recommendations for improving security.
• Participate in after-hours support as needed.
• Lead job assignments without direct supervision. MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, related fields, or equivalent years of experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience within Identity & Access Management or directly related fields.
  • Strong understanding of access control and authentication technologies, including LDAP, SSO, and multi-factor authentication.
  • Experience with Privileged Access Management (PAM) technologies is preferred.
  • Experience with cloud security (e.g. Azure) preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
