KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Honeywell Performance Materials & Technologies (PMT) has an excellent opportunity for a Senior Finance Manager of our Smart Energy (SME) Projects Business, based in Houston, TX. The position reports to the Smart Energy Americas Chief Financial Officer and supports and partners with the Solutions, Services & GPMO Leader. You will act as virtual COO to the Organization, co-owning the P&L, explaining deviations and making recommendations whilst building the Project Management and Controls capabilities for the $100M business. You will also be the Global Projects Management Organization (GPMO) Finance leader for SME, ensuring alignment to the Corporate Initiative, implementing standard processes, tools and reporting.

  Partner with business VP/GM and functional leaders to optimize financial results

  Lead financial planning processes: forecasting, annual operating plan, strategic plan
  
  
• 
  Drive process-oriented operation system
  
  
• 
  Manage financial risks and opportunities, drive compliance and ensure financial controls
  
  
• 
  Evaluate business cases and commercial proposals
  
  
• 
  Provide in-depth analysis of financials and develop financial models
  
  
• 
  Lead GPMO system/reporting changes and drive adherence to implementation timelines
  
  
• 
  Partner in the Data Warehouse developments to support SME GPMO requirements
  
  
• 
  Continuously assess gaps and process / system improvements to support SME GPMO transformation
  
  
• 
  Participate in Internal audits
  
  
• 
  Work cross functionally, stay externally and internally connected
  
  
  MUST HAVE:
  
  • 
    
  • 
    Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or IT
    
    
  • 
    Minimum seven years of experience in P&L management and Project Controls
    
    
  • 
    Significant FP&A, P&L experience within a product and projects business
